For over 50 years, members of the Flying Dentists Association have utilized the skill sets of dentist and pilot to serve the less fortunate locally and abroad. There is not a more dedicated group than the FDA.  Our volunteers attend local Missions of Mercy and Remote Area Medical missions on a regular basis and routinely travel abroad to third world countries to help the needy.  Non dental charity activities include compassion flights with Angel flight, Wings Flights of Hope and introducing kids to the world of flight at Young Eagles rallies.

 We have the organizational breadth to assist many charity mission activities. Our mission foundation has purchased support items from generators and dental units to life rafts, which assist our members with their mission activities.  With our monthly missions corner in our FDA newsletter we keep our members abreast of past projects completed and future projects available to join.  Along with the fellowship, continuing education and family friendly activities, our mission opportunities make the Flying Dentists Association  a must join association for the dentist-pilot.
